The Role
Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a difference across a diverse caseload? We are seeking an OT to join our growing allied health team, support people of all ages to live with independence, dignity, and purpose.
You’ll have the opportunity to work flexibly across multiple areas of Newcastle Anglican Allied Health services, or choose to specialise in an area, including:
- Schools â helping children and teenagers succeed in the classroom.
- Paediatrics â supporting children and their families reach developmental milestones, and participate in their chosen life activities.
- NDIS â providing person-centred supports in their chosen natural environment.
- Community Aged Care â supporting older adults in their home to maintain independence and safety.
- Residential Aged Care Facilities â delivering evidence-based therapy to enhance mobility, function and quality of life

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Degree qualification(s) in Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 1 years’ experience providing OT support with a focus on best practice and clinical excellence
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Proven experience providing Occupational Therapy in a child’s natural environment (home, school or community), NDIS and/or in the community or residential within Aged Care
- Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with disabilities
- Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team and other service providers
- Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities.
- Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- NSW Driver’s Licence
